Our Privacy Promise

Save Gmail Emails as PDF in Bulk is a Chrome browser extension that converts your emails into PDF files, and can merge a selection into one document to print. Privacy is the foundation of how the product is built, not an afterthought. Your emails, their content, and their attachments are never uploaded to any server. Every PDF is generated entirely on your own device, inside your browser.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the extension does and does not handle, and why.

Local-Only Processing

When you export an email to PDF, the extension reads the email that is already displayed in your browser and renders it into a PDF file locally. The following are processed only on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Email subjects, senders, recipients, and message bodies
• Attachments and inline images you choose to include
• The generated PDF files themselves
• Your filename templates and export settings (orientation, paper size, and similar preferences)

We operate no server that receives, stores, or has access to your email content. Because processing is local, your data stays under your control at all times.

Data We May Handle

To run a sustainable product, a small amount of non-content data may be handled:

• Subscription validation (Pro). If you subscribe to Pro, we validate your subscription status to confirm your access. Only your subscription status is checked. No email content, recipients, or PDF data is ever sent during validation.
• Optional, anonymous usage analytics. We may collect anonymous, aggregate information such as which features are used and basic, non-identifying technical details to improve the extension. This never includes email content, addresses, or attachments. Where required, it can be disabled in settings.
• Support communications. If you email us for help, we receive whatever information you choose to share in your message.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Permissions We Request

Browser extensions must declare the permissions they use. We request only what is needed to export emails:

• Access to the webmail pages you use (such as Gmail and other webmail) so the extension can read the email currently shown in order to render it as a PDF.
• Downloads, so the generated PDF files can be saved to your device.
• Storage, to remember your preferences (filename format, paper size, orientation) locally.

These permissions are used solely to provide the export feature and never to exfiltrate your data.

Data Retention

Because email content is processed locally and never reaches our servers, there is nothing for us to retain. Your settings are stored locally in your browser and are removed if you uninstall the extension or clear its storage. Any account or subscription information needed to verify your access is retained only as long as necessary to support your subscription.

Children's Privacy

Save Gmail Emails as PDF in Bulk is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the extension or our website.
